Our classroom grading system will be fairly straight forward. For each assignment that the student completes, they will receive a score based off of the number of questions correct out of the total possible points. All of their grades will be averaged together, quarterly, and recorded on their report cards. Parents will be sent home a copy of the students’ progress report half way through each 9week period. At progress report time, we will have scheduled parent/teacher conferences to discuss students progress and any academic or behavioral modifications that may need to be addressed. At the end of each semester, the parents will receive report cards of students’ final, recorded, grades. The following are the point values and their corresponding letter grades:
A = 90 – 100
B = 80 – 89
C = 70 – 79
D = 60 – 69
F = 0 – 59
